    Girls Touch 7s Rugby   TERM 3 PROGRAM NOW CLOSED FOR REGISTRATIONS DONT WORRY WE'LL BE BACK NEXT YEAR   Rugby is not just for boys!  We have quite a few girls playing rugby and this number is growing all the time.  If you have a girl who may be interested in the game, or just wants to have some fun with her friends on Friday evenings, this program will be perfect. From Friday July 20, UQ Junior Bullsharks in conjunction with UQRFC will be running a 5 week Girls Rugby Touch program aimed at developing skills and introducing a new generation of girls to rugby.     UQ Rugby to host The Modified Rugby Program

    UQ Rugby to host The Modified Rugby Program   UQ Rugby Club with the UQ Junior Bullsharks are now hosting their first MRP Colts team to move more teenagers with learning and perceptual disabilities off the sidelines and into the main game.   With the ongoing success of the Modified Rugby Program (MRP) across Brisbane, UQ Rugby and UQ Junior Bullsharks have joined forces with GingerCloud Foundation to allow young adults between 14 and 19 years with learning and perceptual disabilities (MRP Players) to experience the thrill of playing rugby through the new MRP Colts division.   This new MRP division offers MRP Players the chance to play a modified form of touch rugby, designed to meet their specific needs, which also individually matches them on-field with a university-aged PlayerMentor for guidance, support and encouragement.   The MRP Colts is part of the MRP player pathway which now also includes the MRP (original) for girls and boys 7 – 13 years and Read More > >

    New Name & Logo Launched

      TBRC are proud to launch our new logo.  Following the historic formation of our joint Venture with UQ Rugby, one of Brisbane oldest and most successful rugby club we will now be known as the UQ Junior Bull Sharks. We will be changing our playing colours, and our name but or ethos of Fun, Friendship and Community remains unchanged from the very first day a small group of community members started this great club back in 1990. The new logo is very similar to our previous one, Walter the Bull Shark remains of course and we have added to our identity by including the TBRC and 1990 to the famous Walter Taylor Bridge.Read More > >
